Mia Hamborg

Born in 1980, Mia Hamborg studied graphic design and worked in advertising before taking up the challenge of 3D. That she has a special passion for wood is evident at first sight of her Shuffle side table for the Danish manufacturer &Tradition. For the design Hamborg used the old Nordic tradition of wood chiselling: different, varnished, turned wood forms being used to form the playful side table. Functionality and humour are also two characteristics that make up a lot of works by Mia Hamborg - spreading joy and the desire to live well.
